REPLAY REQUEST.

DJANGO AND TOUT VA BIEN

Just like to say a big thank you to everyone who came last night. Good to see the regulars again and hear their views on the films especially on Sergio Corbucci's Django, as it was overwhelmingly view it as a piece of filmic art in its own right, separating it from the Tarantino homage Django Unchained  a refreshing change and not forgetting Godard's Tout Va Bien  a piece of theatrical cinema designed to ignited creative as well as political thought. Plus I would like to take time out to say good bye to CULTIVATE regular Alexander Wasabi (off down south) I will miss our little film chats. Have a great summer, and as promised I will send you a copy of the CULTIVATE illustrated quarterly.

DJANGO SCREENING

DJANGO and TOUT VA BIEN double bill

FREE FILM SCREENING

CULTIVATE is back with a creative protest special. With the screening of DJANGO and TOUT VA BIEN. DJANGO an iconic Modern classic re-inventing the western by incorporating social and political context turning the western into a creative platform for other filmmakers to ask questions of society using socio-political storytelling in constructed narrative and most importantly in an entertaining way. While TOUT VA BIEN looks at the 1972 militant French uprising that went on for 4 years, as social revolutionaries attempted to overthrow the De Gaulle’s government and the right wing grip on France and the French working class. Constantly referenced as an iconic representation of the Nouvelle Vague (The French New Wave). A art house must see.
